1. Face washes

a. Are the various face washes for all skin types? Or, is each one for a particular skin type?
Face washes are suitable for all skin types. However Hydrating face wash can be used for normal to dry skin, specifically formulated with Organic -- Soliga forest Honey, aloe, rose, bael, ash gourd and other herbs.
b. Are any of them good for problematic skin?
Neem and Turmeric face wash help lift skin impurities.
c. What is the preferred skin type for the Face Washes?
Hydrating - Normal to Dry Skin
Neem -Turmeric-For All Skin types including problematic skin.
Invigorating-Normal to Oily skin type, but can be used on dry skin as well.

2. How often should one use the scrub?

Once a week is ideal. Twice a week if intense cleansing is required.

3. What have we done as a company to ensure the scrub is not damaging and/or will not rupture the skin? How did we get the 'abrasiveness' just right?

The two gentle scrub materials generally used are apricot and walnut. We have selected Walnut along with nutmeg and wood apple. We control the particle size of the scrub to get the abrasiveness right. The product is also formulated with ingredients that moisturize while the scrub cleanses.

4. Cleansing Bars

a. Are there any skin type considerations when deciding which cleansing bar to use? Or, are they both for all skin types?
The cleansing bars are formulated with a blend of saponified Organic coconut and organic Palm fruit oil, enriched with Organic cocoa butter, organic herbs and essential oils. The soap with its luxurious foam is suitable for all skin types. In case of excessive dry skin, it is advisable to use a light moisturizer after cleansing.
b. Can the cleansing bars be used for shaving? If so, is one better than the other?
Yes. Either one is fine.
c. Would it be possible to have a detailed process describing how the soaps are made?
Soaps are made by a process called saponification. Blend of organic vegetable oils are saponified maintaining the temperature around 35 degrees C. During saponification process the contents are hand mixed for about 45 minutes. At the end stage of saponification essential oils and organic herbal actives are added, mixed, poured into wooden trays and allowed to mature for about 48 Hours. After maturation the blocks are hand cut to shapes and packed. A certain level of organic vegetable oils are left un-saponified in the soap that leaves the skin moisturized after bath.

5. Shampoos

a. Are the shampoos okay for color treated hair? Will they adversely affect a woman's highlights?
Yes, the shampoos are okay for color treated hair.
b. Are the shampoos/conditioner pH balanced?
pH balanced is a vague term used in personal care products. pH 7 is neutral. Less than pH 7 is acidic and more than pH 7 is alkaline. Skin and scalp pH is around 4.5-6 and our shampoo and conditioners are around this pH range and therefore skin and scalp friendly.
c. Which shampoo is best for frizzy or curly hair?
Hydrating shampoo can keep the hair moisturized and set.
d. Do any of the shampoos act as a clarifier?
None of the current shampoo range is specifically for clarification. However they perform this function too since they clear out all the other oily styling gels that are left on hair and at the same time does not deposit any oily conditioner unlike any other normal shampoos that deposit silicones.

6. Lotions/Creams

a. Are they all non comedogenic?
Yes, Non-comedogenic ingredients are used in Creams and lotions.
b. What makes the FootCare Cream specifically for feet? Can it be used on other parts of the body, including the face?
Foot cream is heavier cream that gives intense moisturization to the feet making the feet soft. Heels are the area where the outermost layer of the skin is thick and entire weight of the body rest on this. These areas when dry can become brittle and lead to cracks. These areas require intense moisturization and FootcareCream is designed to deliver this. This cream can be used in other parts if the heaviness of the cream suits you.
c. Are these products safe to use on babies?
Yes these products are safe for babies. However some babies may not love the blend of essential oils used that imparts SPA-ish aroma.
